HANDS ON APPROACH
Each member of the Himax Security team is carefully screened. Our pre-employment background process includes criminal record checks, vulnerable sector checks, and psychological testing. Each security officer is interviewed by our management team, thoroughly vetted, and must supply five verifiable references. Successful candidates are then trained in our systems, equipment, and certifications, and are bonded and insured.
Himax Security is committed to providing the necessary training to ensure our workforce meets the statutory requirements of the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority. We are also committed to providing the necessary personal development to improve the skills and competence of our workforce in the focused delivery of services to our clients.

On the 1st of May 1999, Mr. Hannes Jordaan and Pieter Jordaan teamed their knowledge and expertise to establish Himax Security.
The first contract awarded to Himax was a two-day, two-night complement in the Johannesburg area. Through determination and passion, the business grew from strength to strength. During 2003 Himax was approached by one of our corporate clients to establish branches in other regions to provide them with a Holistic National Security Solution.
From operating only in Gauteng, Himax now has a National Presence with branches in Gauteng (Johannesburg), Free State (Harrismith), North West (Rustenburg), KwaZulu Natal (Durban) and Cape Town (Western Cappe)
